Shri R.Margabandhu was born on August 1 1934 in North Arcot district,is an Indian politician and former Member of parliament served as a leader of AIADMK at upper house from July 1995 to 2001,He also contested in 1977 state elections representing AIADMK party,as a candidate of Peasants and Toilers party he won Anaicut constituency got 32731 votes(around 48.78% ). As a senior advocate, he also served as Bar council chairman of Tamilnadu and Pudhucherry from September 1994 to March 2000.He conducted so many workshops and conferences for the benefit of young lawyers from rural area.He made huge contribution to his society by spending whole life for the people welfare
